The mission of the Facilities organization is, through its people, to design, construct, and maintain safe and highly functional buildings and grounds for the University of Delaware students, faculty, staff, and guests. The organization consists of Maintenance, Custodial, Planning and Construction, and Accounting divisions made up of 500 employees dedicated to providing services toward these ideals for 443 buildings making up the more than 7.5 million square feet of space on five campuses and over 2,000 acres.

The Occupational Health and Safety department is charged with maintaining a safe and healthful campus environment within the mission of the University while ensuring compliance with applicable Federal, state and local regulations.

We are continually seeking to upgrade our services and methods to meet the ever changing needs of the University and welcome your suggestions on how we might better serve the University community.
